Joyce is a Research Assistant under Lero’s Education and Public Engagement (EPE) programme since 2022. She holds a BA in Psychology and MSc in Health Psychology from the University of Galway. Joyce was recently involved in the Computer Science Impact research project which investigated students’ experiences of the newly established Leaving Certificate Computer Science subject. Currently, she works on a research project which aims to evaluate the long-term impact of the outreach programmes promoted by and delivered by Lero’s EPE programme, such as Scratch and CodePlus.
