Lero, SFI Research Centre for Software, is pleased to invite you to the launch of Lero’s Open Science Charter and Open Source Programme Office followed by a lecture on ‘Ireland’s National Agenda for Open Research’ by Dr Daniel Bangert.  

Dr Daniel Bangert is Ireland’s National Open Research Coordinator, based at the Digital Repository of Ireland, Royal Irish Academy. He coordinates the activities of the National Open Research Forum (NORF), a broad group of research stakeholders who led the development of Ireland’s National Action Plan for Open Research. He is a member of the Council for National Open Science Coordination (CoNOSC), the EOSC Task Force on Research Careers, Recognition and Credit, and co-chairs the RDA Working Group on National PID Strategies. His background is in arts and humanities research, academic librarianship, and European Open Science projects (RDA, FAIRsFAIR).
