Dr. Aideen Killeen is a Research Fellow in Machine Learning with a PhD in Molecular Biology and over 10 years of professional experience across the healthcare, regulatory, and academic sectors. She has held key roles, including Pathology Laboratory Manager in the UK and Australia and Clinical Project Manager for an AI-driven Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) project. Dr. Killeen has also led a healthcare compliance division in Western Australia.

Her work focuses on integrating data science and machine learning into clinical workflows, particularly in reproductive science and diagnostics. Dr. Killeen has lectured at Manchester Metropolitan University, specialising in Clinical Reproductive Science and Genomics, and served on the Executive Committee of the now Association of Reproductive and Clinical Scientists.

Her multifaceted experience includes managing clinical validation studies and contributing to regulatory submissions for novel in vitro diagnostics (IVDs). She continues to develop her skills in machine learning and data science, focusing on applications across all clinical modalities.

Dr. Killeen is committed to advancing diagnostics, improving patient outcomes, and enhancing the quality of work life for healthcare professionals through the innovative use of technology.
