Arathy Kottapurath
Post-Doctoral Researcher
Dr. Arathy Kottapurath is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Computer Science & Information Systems at the University of Limerick. Her research focuses on building a system that enhances human/robot interaction through a Knowledge Graph that processes distributed data in real-time on the Framework for Human/Robot Cognition Interaction project.
Before joining the University of Limerick, Dr. Kottapurath was a postdoctoral researcher at the Indian Innovation Centre for Graphene, Digital University Kerala, India, where her research focused on the development of graphene-based actuators and sensor data analysis. She earned her PhD in Physics from Centre for Materials for Electronics Technology, India. She worked on the method for thermal image reconstruction from discrete temperature data for non-destructive testing. Her research interests is in integrating computational physics and sensor data to address real-world problems. Dr. Kottapurath has contributed to patented research in the early detection of breast cancer and has published in leading scientific journals.
