Douglas Mota Dias

Douglas Mota Dias is a Lecturer at the Department of Computer Science & Applied Physics at the Atlantic Technological University Galway and holds an MSc & a PhD in Electrical Engineering/Computational Intelligence. He was an Associate Professor at Rio de Janeiro State University, a Lecturer at Griffith College Cork, and a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro and the University of Limerick. Industry collaborations involved R&D projects with Intel, Huawei, and Petrobras. His research & teaching interests include evolutionary computing, machine learning, high-performance computing, and electronics.
