Yusuf Auwal Sani

Yusuf holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Yobe State University, Nigeria (2017). In 2024, he completed an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s in Cyberspace Behaviour and E-Therapy, a multidisciplinary program coordinated by Universidade Lusófona (Lisbon, Portugal), Université Paris Cité (France), and Universitat de Barcelona (Spain).
He brings nearly eight years of teaching and research experience, having served as a Teaching Assistant and Assistant Lecturer at both Yobe State University and the Jigawa State Institute of Information Technology, Nigeria. His academic background is complemented by hands-on industry experience, gained through internships in Nigeria and France.
In April 2025, Yusuf began his PhD at Lero/BDS, where he is working on developing predictive multi-modal models for cancer prediction under the supervision of Prof. Conor Ryan and Dr. Meghana Kshirsagar.
