A series of Creative Coding workshops for teachers to support Coding in Junior Cycle kicks off with Workshop 1 – HTML/CSS on Tuesday November 8th 2022. During this workshop teachers will develop a HTML/CSS ePortfolio to showcase their coding creations. Design and create a website using HTML and CSS.  

Workshop 2 – Scratch takes place on Wednesday December 7th. During this workshop, teachers will utilise Scratch to creatively solve computer science challenges, such as converting binary to decimal and back, identify a coding challenge to support thinking creatively.

Workshop 3 – Python takes place on Thursday January 19th. This workshop will Introduce the Python programming language and explore creative transitions from block based to text based programming.
