The CodePlus program, led by Professor Cornelia Connolly of the University of Galway's School of Education, has earned the Diversity & Inclusion Initiative of the Year award at the Women in STEM Summit. CodePlus focuses on closing the gender gap in computer science by introducing female students to coding and tech career paths. Supported by industry giants such as Google, Fidelity Investments, and Bank of America, as well as Irish universities, CodePlus continues its mission to foster diversity in STEM fields.
