The Norwegian ambassador to Ireland met a delegation from Lero, the SFI Research Centre for Software, at University of Limerick recently.

Her Excellency Mari Skåre, Ambassador of Norway to Ireland attended a meeting with Lero where Joe Gibbs delivered a brief presentation on the research centre before Rossie Webb Senior Architect, Head of Urban Innovation, Limerick City and County Council and University of Limerick Lecturer, outlined work being carried out as part of the +CityxChange.

+CityxChange (Positive City ExChange) is a smart city project, that has been granted funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme in the call for ‘Smart cities and communities.’ The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) is the host and leads the +CityxChange consortium together with the Lighthouse Cities Trondheim Kommune and Limerick City and County Council.
