Dr. Darren Shannon is a Lecturer in Risk and Finance in the Kemmy Business School, University of Limerick, and a researcher in the Emerging Risk Group (ERG). Darren received his Ph.D. in Applied Statistics while directly involved with the H2020 VIDAS and Cloud-LSVA research projects. Darren’s research centres on the multidisciplinary applications of financial models, the actuarial considerations of autonomous vehicles, and on the econometrics of motor vehicle collisions.
