Current Position: PhD Research Student

Research Area title: Source Code Analysis of Deep Learning Frameworks

Brief Intro:

Abdul completed his BS in Information Technology from the University of Sargodha, Gujranwala, in 2018 and his Master's in Computer Science from Comsats University Islamabad, Islamabad, in 2021. He started his Ph.D. in Software Engineering in February 2023. He is working on the development of reference architectures for software systems, which is crucial for tracing and understanding the specific features of software. Specifically, my work involves constructing reference architectures for deep learning environments, including TensorFlow, PyTorch, and MindSpore. This process includes the recovery of architecture through both top-down and bottom-up approaches. These methodologies enable a comprehensive analysis of the code and documentation of the architectural design, facilitating better understanding and reengineering of software system features. Abdul also has more than 2 years of lectureship experience at the University of Sialkot and Saed Islamic College.
