Gauri Vaidya

Gauri Vaidya is a final-year Ph.D. student at the University of Limerick's Biocomputing and Developmental Systems (BDS) Group, supervised by Prof. Conor Ryan and Dr. Meghana Kshirsagar. Her research focuses on optimizing hyperparameter configurations using Grammatical Evolution to enhance resource utilization. She has published 10 research articles in top conferences and journals and has contributed as a Teaching Assistant across various modules. Gauri is affiliated with Lero and the Limerick Digital Cancer Research Centre and was part of the winning team in the Smart India Hackathon 2019. She contributed as an academic collaborator to a team that was successful in securing funding from Science Foundation Ireland National Challenge Fund for the project titled "ALTER: Unleashing the Power of AI and Digital Twins in Emergency Care". She serves as a reviewer for multiple international conferences. Passionate about applying AI and deep learning to complex problems, she is highly skilled in Machine Learning, Data Analytics and blockchain technologies.
