Sally McHugh
Post-Doctoral Researcher
Sally holds a BA (Hons.) in IT and Archaeology, a MA in Digital Media and a PhD in Education. Her Ph.D. explored, for and with young people, the use of technology in heritage education, culminating in a heritage learning model for use in both formal and informal learning environments. She was the inaugural recipient of the Fulbright Creative - Ireland Museum Fellowship in 2018-19 which allowed her spend 3 months at the Exploratorium Museum, San Francisco. She has a strong interest in Computer Science education and is currently working with young people as part of the CodePlus Programme.
